FOUNDING DENTIST
Dr. Renee Kurtz, DMD
Villanova University · Tufts University School of Dental Medicine
Dr. Renee Kurtz has been caring for individuals and families in Cheshire since 2010. She earned her degree in Biology from Villanova University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
After dental school, she completed an internship with renowned clinician Dr. Gordon Christensen in Utah, where she participated in clinical research and furthered her training in restorative dentistry. Earlier in her career, Dr. Renee also served as a Course Director and Clinical Instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, lecturing on dental materials, non-metal restorations, and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Renee has written and published articles on esthetic dentistry and continues to stay current with the latest advances in modern dental care. She is a member of the Academy of Healthy Dentistry and has devoted much of her career to community service through organizations including Operation Smile, the Haitian Health Foundation, and Life Haven Women’s Shelter. She also regularly supports local outreach focused on oral health education and disease prevention.
Dr. Naadia Ahmed, DMD
University of Pittsburgh · Yale New Haven Hospital
Dr. Naadia Ahmed earned her Bachelor of Science in Natural Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating magna cum laude with minors in Chemistry and Sociology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where she was the sole recipient of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Award.
Following dental school, she completed a highly competitive General Practice Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, gaining advanced experience in digital dentistry, dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, sedation, and the care of medically complex patients.
Dr. Naadia enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. She has a particular interest in digital and CAD/CAM dentistry, as well as cosmetic dentistry, and takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. She has also completed advanced training through the Pankey Institute, further strengthening her approach to comprehensive, relationship-based care. Outside the office, Dr. Naadia enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter, Soraya, traveling, and discovering new culinary experiences.
